Why ‘Agree to Disagree’ Is A Series of Falling Dominos

This is a quick blog to document my position and reasons for it on a particular issue, in this case on the practice of agreeing to disagree under the context of fundamental values and standards.

It is a general blog not meant to sub-sum and deal with every case this is an exception to, but to address a general rule. Consider this statement:

“When I got into objectivism, I naturally had my agreements and disagreements with it. It’s only natural in any healthy philosophy. Unfortunately, it was Rand’s way or the highway. All or nothing. She was infallible and who was I to question her greatness.”
